Hawks sign Humphries to training camp deal

Former Kentucky forward Isaac Humphries is apparently headed to the G-League.

The Atlanta Hawks have signed Australian forward center Isaac Humphries to a training camp contract, the team announced in news release.

Humphries, 20, went undrafted out of Kentucky in 2017. He spent most of last season as a rookie with the Sydney Kings in the Australian NBL, as well as in Serbia.

Humphries is likely headed to the Erie Bayhawks of the G-League, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. The Bayhawks are the Hawks’ minor-league affiliate.

The Hawks’ camp roster currently stands at 20, the maximum allowed under NBA rules.
