Ainge anxious to see Celtics: ‘Let’s scrimmage!’

Celtics president Danny Ainge says he won't panic after the team has failed to live up to the buzz early.

During his playing days, Danny Ainge was known was one of the most aggressive, competitive guys on the floor.

The man now running the show for the Boston Celtics, the preseason favorite to unseat the Cleveland Cavaliers atop the Eastern Conference this season, has already had enough of watching practice as coach Brad Stevens puts his squad through their paces.

“Well, we are doing a lot of skeleton offense and practice defense… it’s a little boring for me,” Boston’s president of basketball operation said through a laugh. “I want to see them play… let’s scrimmage! Let’s go!”
