Former first-round pick Jared Sullinger was among those who took part in a free agent mini-camp held by the Brooklyn Nets, according to a report from Ben Stinar of HoopsHabit.
Sullinger is a 6-foot-9 forward and spent last season playing in China. He was drafted out of Ohio State by the Boston Celtics with the No. 21 overall pick in 2012. He was also spent time with the Toronto Raptors and in the G League.
Sullinger has battled injuries and weight issues for much of his career but is intent on returning to the NBA.
According to Stinar, former Maryland guard Melo Trimble was also brought in by the Nets.
