The Detroit Pistons are acquiring point guard Jameer Nelson from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for forward Willie Reed, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
The Bulls acquired Nelson from the New Orleans Pelicans in the Nikola Mirotic trade last week. Reed was obtained by the Pistons as part of the Blake Griffin deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Nelson reunites with former Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy in Detroit. Nelson, who turns 36 on Friday, is expected help fill the void left by injured Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson.
