Point guard Felder waived by Bulls

Kay Felder, shown driving against Kyle Lowry of Toronto earlier this season as a Chicago Bull, is signing a two-way contract with the Detroit Pistons, according to a report.

The Chicago Bulls have waived guard Kay Felder, who they claimed off free agency waivers in October after the Atlanta Hawks waived him.

Felder appeared in 14 games for the Bulls and averaged 3.9 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 9.6 minutes. He played three games for the Windy City Bulls, putting up 17.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists while shooting 45.2 percent from the field.

Felder began the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers but was traded to the Hawks along with Richard Jefferson prior to the start of the season. Jefferson is now with the Denver Nuggets.
