Free agent forward Chris Johnson will sign a partially guaranteed contract with the Houston Rockets, according to a report from the Houston Chronicle.
Johnson went undrafted out of Dayton in 2012, but has bounced around the NBA, serving stints with the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks and the Utah Jazz.
Johnson is 6-foot-6 and 27 years old. He spent all of last season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Rockets’ affiliate in the G League.
