James, who will lead the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Golden State Warriors in the Finals for a fourth consecutive season starting tonight at Oracle Arena, has a $35.6 million player option he is expected to decline and become an unrestricted free agent.
According to Marc Stein of The New York Times, Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul, a close friend of James, is already recruiting him to join him in Houston.
