Cavs waive Randolph; camp roster now at 19

Shooting guard Levi Randolph spent last season with Strasbourg IG of France.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have waived shooting guard Levi Randolph, trimming their training camp roster to 19.

Randolph is 6-foot-6 and was signed by the Cavs last month. He appeared in two preseason games.

He played all four seasons in college at Alabama (2011-15), then landed with the G-League’s Maine Red Claws after going undrafted in 2015. He has since played two years in Italy and last year in France.

Rudolph averaged 8.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 22 games for Strasbourg IG last season. He then played for the Indiana Pacers’ summer-league squad in July.
