The Cleveland Cavaliers are finalizing a two-way contract with free agent guard London Perrantes, according to a report from The Vertical.
Perrantes is 6-foot-2 and went undrafted out of Virginia. He will join swingman John Holland as the Cavs’ two players with two-contracts — meaning both players will spend the majority of their time in the G League with the Canton Charge.
Perrantes is a native of Los Angeles and played for the Miami Heat in summer league. He was cut by the San Antonio Spurs last week during training camp.
Perrantes averaged 12.7 points and 3.8 assists per game last season as a senior at Virginia. He tied a program record with 138 games played.
“Once Perrantes finalizes his deal with the Cavs, only the Hawks, Rockets, Bucks, Timberwolves, Knicks, and Trail Blazers will still have open two-way slots,” per HoopsRumors.
