Former first-round draft pick Rashad Vaughn has signed with the Dallas Mavericks, the team announced in a news release.
Vaughn is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard and was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the No. 17 overall draft pick in 2015. He has played in a total of 139 NBA games.
Vaughn totaled 28 games with the Bucks, Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic and averaged 2.3 points. He spent the summer playing for the Miami Heat in Las Vegas and Sacramento.
Along with Vaughn, the Mavs announced the signing of undrafted Loyola of Chicago swingman Donte Ingram. They also waived forward Jalen Jones and guard Codi Miller-McIntyre, per the release.
While the team didn’t specify, the contracts for Vaughn and Ingram are most likely Exhibit 10 training camp deals that will send both players to the team’s G-League affiliate in Frisco.
