The Dallas Mavericks do not intend to exercise the option on swingman DeAndre Liggins, according to report from ESPN.
Liggins will then become an unrestricted free agent July 1. The Mavericks signed him during the final week of the regular season.
Liggins, 29, played 61 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers this past season. He averaged 2.5 points in 12.5 minutes per game. He has also spent time with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Orlando Magic, as well as served stints in the D-League.
He played one game for the Mavericks and scored eight points.
