Canton Charge swingman John Holland has agreed to a contract with Beijing Dongfang of China, a team spokesperson told Amico Hoops.
Holland, 29, attended training camp with the Cavaliers. He appeared in three preseason games and averaged 10.7 points in 19 minutes per game.
The Cavs waived Holland on Oct. 22, and he landed with their D-League affiliate in Canton not long after.
In 39 games with the Charge, Holland averaged 22.5 points and 4.6 rebounds.
International scouts consider Holland a well-rounded offensive player with the toughness to go inside and a nice touch from the perimeter.
He has also played professionally in France, Spain, Turkey and Puerto Rico, and has served stints with the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs.
