Italian swingman and former second-round draft pick Alessandro Gentile will attend training camp with the Houston Rockets, he said in an exclusive interview with BasketNet.
Gentile is 6-foot-7 and was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round (No. 53 overall) of the 2014 draft. His draft rights were traded to the Rockets that same night.
He has spent his entire career overseas, most recently with Italian club Virtus Bologna.
Gentile, 25, is the son of Italian basketball legend Nando Gentile and the younger brother of Stefano Gentile, another pro hoopster.
