The Indiana Pacers have released center Al Jefferson, sending him into free agency, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
Jefferson, 36, averaged 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in 36 games last season.
The 6-foot-10 big man was drafted by the Boston Celtics with the No. 15 pick in 2004. He has also spent time with the Utah Jazz, Charlotte Hornets and Minnesota Timberwolves.
