McDermott agrees to three-year deal with Pacers

Doug McDermott is reportedly headed to the Pacers.

Free agent small forward Doug McDermott has agreed to a contract with the Indiana Pacers, according to ESPN.

The deal is for three years and $22 million, ESPN reported.

McDermott, 26, averaged 7.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 21.8 minutes in 81 games last season — 55 with the New York Knicks and 26 with the Dallas Mavericks — shooting 46.7 percent from the field and 42.6 percent from the 3-point line.

His career began with the Chicago Bulls. He also spent time with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
