Uthoff agrees to contract with Pacers

Jarrod Uthoff appeared in nine games with the Mavericks last season.

Free agent forward Jarrod Uthoff has agreed to a contract with the Indiana Pacers, according to a report from Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.

Uthoff is 6-foot-9 and appeared in nine games with the Dallas Mavericks last season, averaging 4.0 points.

As Scotto noted, Uthoff shot 46 percent on 3-pointers in the G League last season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Texas Legends and Raptors 905.

Uthoff, 24, went undrafted out of Iowa in 2016. He was traded to the Houston Rockets this offseason, before getting waived in August.

Per Basketball Insiders, “Uthoff passed on EuroLeague offers as well as offers from three other NBA teams.”
