Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James turned his ankle during Dwyane Wade’s first practice with the team Wednesday night, Jason Lloyd of The Athletic reported.
An X-ray came back negative and James is considered day-to-day, Lloyd added.
James and Wade are teammates again for the first time since the 2013-14 season with the Miami Heat. Wade did not practice Thursday to attend to a personal matter, but will return and meet with the media Friday.
The Cavs have won three straight Eastern Conference titles and James, 32, has reached the NBA Finals seven consecutive seasons.
