Clippers finished dealing? Probably not

Having already jettisoned five-time All-Star forward Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons, the Los Angeles Clippers are not finished wheeling and dealing, according to a report.

Chris Mannix of Yahoo Sports writes the Clippers are likely to be sellers — again — before the trade deadline.

“The Clippers are telling teams they are fine holding on to DeAndre Jordan through the deadline — though you would be hard-pressed to find too many who believe them,” he said. “Portland has engaged the Clippers on Jordan. Cleveland and Milwaukee have, too.

“A team to watch: Washington. There is some buzz that the Wizards could put together a Marcin Gortat/Kelly Oubre-headlined package that the Clippers, who have vowed not to bottom out, could find appealing.”

Meanwhile, the Clippers have reached agreement on a contract extension with coveted guard Lou Williams, effectively taking him off the market.

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m.
