Portland Trail Blazers forward Maurice Harkless will miss at least two weeks following a procedure to remove a loose body from his left knee, ESPN reported.
Harkless underwent the surgery Wednesday.
According to ESPN, his knee will be re-evaluated in two weeks, with a recovery timeline of two-to-three weeks.
This is a HUGE loss. "How could you be Mo" Harkless has been a significant contributor to their 14-2 mark since 2/19 (trade deadline). NRTG of +13.5 in 299 minutes trails only Nurkic's +14.0. https://t.co/AfgkayvrnQ

Harkless has been a key part of the Blazers’ rise to a top-three seed in the Western Conference. He is averaging 6.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in a little more than 21 minutes a game.
The Blazers (46-28) hold the third seat in the West entering Wednesday’s night, 2 1/2 games ahead of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
