Grizzlies want first-round pick for Evans

Tyreke Evans signed a one-year deal with the Pacers.

The Memphis Grizzlies are, at least for now, standing their ground in demanding a first-round draft pick in return for swingman Tyreke Evans, according to a report, as the NBA trade deadline hits at 3 p.m. today.

However, the three reported main suitors for Evans’ services — the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers — have yet to cave to Memphis’ demand.

Evans is an unrestricted free agent after this season.
