The Grizzlies have opted not to re-sign guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes, and instead will ink Briante Weber to a 10-day contract, according to ESPN reports.
Rathan-Mayes had signed a 10-day contract and appeared in five games, averaging 5.8 points and 3.6 assists.
He is 6-foot-4 and had been playing for the Westchester Knicks of the G-League, where he averaged 16.6 points and 7.1 assists in 39 games.
Rathan-Mayes is a native of Canada, attended Florida State and went undrafted following his junior year last summer. Rathan-Mayes, 23, was a 2017 ACC All-Defensive Team selection in 2017.
