Free agent swingman DeAndre Liggins has signed with the Miami Heat, the team announced in a press release.
Liggins is 6-foot-6 and was traded from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Atlanta Hawks last month. The Hawks promptly cut him.
Liggins, 29, spent most of last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers before being waived in April.
He has also spent time with the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder, and appeared in one game apiece with the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks. He averaged 2.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 62 total games last season.
The Mavs traded Liggins to the Clippers in July.
