The Miami Heat have recalled small forward Derrick Jones Jr. as part of his two-way contract, the team announced Thursday.
Jones Jr. has appeared in 10 games with the Heat, starting eight times and averaging 4.0 points and 2.7 rebounds. He has also appeared in 24 games in the G League, splitting time between the Northern Arizona Suns (16 games) and Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Jones Jr. is averaging 16.8 points and 7.1 rebounds in the G League, shooting 49 percent from the field.
