Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley Jr. is traveling with the team and hoping to return to the court soon, according to a report from the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
The Grizzlies have been a disaster during Conley’s absence, losing games and fans as they plummet to last place in the Western Conference.
Conley has missed 23 games with a sore Achilles and heel, and the Grizzlies have gone 4-19 in that span after a strong start to the season. The team has offered no official timeline for his return, but an announcement could come Monday or Tuesday, per the Commercial Appeal.
Conley, 30, is averaging 17.1 points and 4.1 assists in 12 games this season.
