The Milwaukee Bucks are signing undrafted rookie guard Robert Johnson to a training-camp contract, according to Nicola Lupo of Sportando.
Johnson was not selected in the NBA draft out of Indiana but worked out for the Indiana Pacers and several other teams. He spent part of summer league with the Atlanta Hawks.
Johnson started 118 games and finished 21st in career scoring with the Hoosiers, compiling 1,413 points. He was named All-Big Ten honorable mention last season as a senior.
He told reporters after his pre-draft workout with the Pacers he believes he can defend multiple positions at the next level.
The Bucks have invited several potential members of the G-League Wisconsin Herd to camp, and Johnson appears to now be one of them.
