Burke, Thabeet among those at Bucks camp

Trey Burke appears to have decided to remain a free agent.

The Milwaukee Bucks are hosting a min-camp for free agents, with perhaps more than a few names known to NBA fans.

In all, 16 players will be at the camp, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Former Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards point guard Trey Burke will be among those in attendance, as will former Memphis Grizzlies center Hasheem Thabeet, No. 2 overall draft pick in 2009.

Perry Jones (Oklahoma City), Jeremy Evans (Utah, Indiana), James Young (Boston), R.J. Hunter (Boston) and Toney Douglas (multiple teams) are the other notables participating.

The camp runs Tuesday and Wednesday and is closed to the public, the Journal Sentinel reported.

  1. Sam. is this “camp” open to other teams’ GMs or is this just a Bucks thing? This sounds like a good idea as teams round out their rosters. Not that the Cavs need any of that at the moment.
