The Minnesota Timberwolves have made a contract extension offer to star swingman Andrew Wiggins, according to ESPN 1500.
Wiggins is eligible to sign a five-year deal worth as much as approximately $148 million.

The Wolves and Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly discussed a Kyrie Irving trade over the past few days, but Minnesota is unwilling to include Wiggins in any deal at this time.
According to Cleveland.com, Wiggins signing a long-term deal with the Wolves makes it unlikely he gets moved.
Wiggins, 22, averaged 23.6 points per game this past season while shooting 45.2 percent from the field.
