Wolves nab undrafted forward Jefferson

Undrafted Duke forward Amile Jefferson has reportedly come to terms with the Timberwolves.

Free agent forward Amile Jefferson has agreed to a partially guaranteed contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to a report from Basketball Insiders.

Jefferson, 24, went undrafted after four years at Duke.

He played for the Timberwolves’ summer-league team in Las Vegas, where he averaged  2.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per game.

After training camp, Jefferson is likely to spend the majority of his time with the Timberwolves’ G-League affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa.

He is the only player in Duke history to be named to the ACC’s All-Academic Team four straight years.
