Veteran guard Jason Terry is the latest on a long list of free agents auditioning for the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to a report from Darren Wolfson of 5 Eyewitness News.
Terry spent last season with the Milwaukee Bucks. He turns 40 years old Sept. 15, and is one of many players on the Wolves’ radar.
Wolfson also reported the organization will look at free agent shooting guard Marcus Thornton, most recently of the Washington Wizards.
Terry and Thornton join a group that reportedly already includes (or will include) free agent forwards Thomas Robinson and Perry Jones III, as well as swingman Alan Anderson and sharpshooter Anthony Morrow.
Trey Burke, Isaiah Canaan and John Jenkins are other free agent guards supposedly getting a look from Minnesota.
Along with all that, the Timberwolves seem hopeful that free agent swingman Shabazz Muhammad will re-sign.
So far this offseason, the Timberwolves added veterans such as Jimmy Butler, Jeff Teague, Jamal Crawford and Taj Gibson to a rotation that already included Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. The roster currently stands at 12.
