Projected top-five pick and former Michigan State forward Jaren Jackson Jr. will work out for the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, the team announced in a press release.
Jackson will conduct an individual workout, shortly after the team stages a group workout.
The Hawks own the No. 3 overall pick in the draft and Jackson is believed to be high on their list of prospects.
The 6-foot-11 Jackson was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year last season, compiling averages of 10.89 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots per game.
Those taking part in the Hawks’ group workout:
Hamidou Diallo (6-5, guard, Kentucky); Trevon Duval (6-3, guard, Duke); Isaac Hass (7-2, center, Purdue); Chimezie Metu (6-11, center, USC); Malik Newman (6-3, guard, Kansas); and Andrew Rowsey (5-11, guard, Marquette).
