Another Ball is trying to have a ball in the NBA. But can LiAngelo Ball make the cut?
There will be plenty of time for that discussion — as Ball, the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, has declared for the draft, LiAngelo’s agent told Yahoo Sports.
The younger Ball has been playing professionally for Vytautas Prienu in Lithuania (along with younger brother LaMelo Ball) since January. LiAngelo signed a one-year contract with Vytautas after parting ways with UCLA following a shoplifting incident during the program’s trip to China.
Ball is a 6-foot-5 swingman and will work out for several teams ahead of the draft. He will also take part in the Pro Basketball Combine at IMG Academy in Florida in May, according to Yahoo.
