The Charlotte Hornets have traded No. 11 draft pick Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to the Los Angeles Clippers for 12th overall pick Miles Bridges, the teams announced Thursday.
The Clippers will also send two second-round picks to the Hornets.
Gilgeous-Alexander is a 6-foot-6 guard out of Kentucky who can handle the ball and defend. He played his best basketball of his lone year with the Wildcats in the second half of the season.
Bridges is 6-7 swingman from Michigan State, where he spent two seasons. He led the Spartans in scoring at 17.0 points and was second in rebounding at 7.0 per game.
