Former Orlando Magic draft pick Justin Jackson is still recovering from an Achilles injury and will return to the G League’s Lakeland Magic once he’s fully healed, a league source told Ben Stinar of Amico Hoops.
Jackson is 6-foot-7 and was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the second round (No. 43 overall) of the 2018 draft. He was traded to the Magic on the same night.
He suffered the Achilles injury in January and was sidelined for the season.
Jackson averaged 9.8 points and 8.1 rebounds during his junior year at Maryland before suffering a torn labrum. He declared for the draft following that season.
