Hawks’ Bembry to miss 4-6 weeks

Hawks swingman DeAndre Bembry underwent successful surgery Tuesday.

Atlanta Hawks forward DeAndre’ Bembry underwent surgery on his fractured right wrist and expected to miss four-to-six weeks, the team announced in a press release.

Bembry, 23, suffered the injury in the Hawks’ season-opener.

The second-year forward is 6-foot-6 and averaged 2.7 points in 38 games as a rookie. He scored six points and six rebounds in the Hawks’ opening win over the Dallas Mavericks.
