A quick look at highlights from Tuesday’s preseason games.
Nets 115, Knicks 107
D’Angelo Russell in his preseason debut, lifting the Nets over the remade Knicks.
The Nets were a plus-16 with Russell on the floor. Sean Kilpatrick added 15 points off the bench.
Tim Hardaway Jr. and Enes Kanter each scored 17 for the Knicks. Rookie Frank Ntilikina scored five points on 1-of-7 shooting.
Bulls 113, Pelicans 109
The Bulls, barely recognizable from this time last year, received 16 points from Cristiano Felicio, and 14 apiece from Robin Lopez and Justin Holiday.
Anthony Davis scored 22 and DeMarcus Cousins 20 for the Pelicans. Each collected 10 rebounds. Also, E’Twaun Moore scored 16.
Rockets 104, Thunder 97
Eric Gordon scored 21 points off the bench, Trevor Ariza had 18 and James Harden 16. Chris Paul scored 11 and passed for seven assists in his Rockets preseason debut.
Carmelo Anthony tallied 19 points in his first game wearing a Thunder uniform and Paul George had 15 while in the same situation.
Suns 114, Trail Blazers 112
T.J. Warren erupted for 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting, and Josh Jackson debuted with 14 points off the bench to lift the Suns.
Damian Lillard and rookie forward Caleb Swanigan each scored 18 for the Blazers. Rookie center Zach Collins collected eight rebounds in five minutes.
