Free agent swingman Garlon Green has signed a multi-year contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to a report from Keith Smith of RealGM.
Green is 6-foot-7 and the brother of longtime NBA wing Gerald Green, currently of the Houston Rockets (and a second cousin of Toronto Raptors guard Danny Green).
Garlon Green went undrafted out of TCU in 2013 and has been playing professionally overseas since then.
He averaged 9.3 points on a sizzling 63 percent from the floor in five summer-league games with the Pelicans earlier this month.
“Green’s contract is expected to include some guaranteed money for 2018-19 and be non-guaranteed with trigger dates TBD in future years,” Smith wrote.
