The New York Knicks are signing G-League guard Billy Garrett to an Exhibit 10 training camp contract, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.
Garrett is 6-foot-5 spent last season with the Westchester Knicks and played on the Knicks’ summer team. According to Begley, Garrett was one Westchester’s top players last season. He played his college ball at DePaul.
The Knicks are currently at the 20-man roster limit for camp, so will have to waive someone before officially signing Garrett.
Within the past week, they have made several transactions related to their G-League team, signing John Jenkins, signing and waiving Phillip Carr and waiving Tyrius Walker.
