Free agent point guard Isaiah Canaan has agreed to a non-guaranteed contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
Canaan, 26, is 6-foot-0 and appeared in 39 games with the Chicago Bulls last season, averaging 4.6 points. His best year came in 2015-16, when he averaged 11.0 points in 76 games for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Assuming Canaan makes the team, he will compete for minutes with backup point guard Raymond Felton in providing relief for reigning league MVP Russell Westbrook.
