The Oklahoma City Thunder have waived guards Bryce Alford and Markel Brown, and forward Rashawn Thomas, the team announced in a press release.
Alford and Thomas went undrafted in June — Alford out of UCLA, Thomas out of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Thomas is the former Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
Brown has spent time with the Brooklyn Nets (2014-16) and attended training camp with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season.
Per Hoops Rumors: “There’s a good chance that the trio will end up playing for the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunder’s G League affiliate. Alford and Thomas are particularly well positioned to head to the Blue, since they’re rookies whose G League rights haven’t been claimed by another team.”
