The Orlando Magic have signed shooting guard Rodney Purvis to a multi-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.
According to Yahoo Sports, the deal is for two years.
Purvis’ second 10-day contract came to an end Wednesday, meaning the Magic had to either let him go or sign him for at least the rest of the season.
Purvis, 24, has appeared in seven games during his 20 days with the team, averaging 6.3 points in 14 minutes per night.
He went undrafted out of Connecticut in 2017 and before joining the Magic, spent most of the year with the team’s G-League affiliate in Lakeland, Fla.
