Sixers signing former Warriors forward McAdoo

Free agent forward James Michael McAdoo has agreed to a two-way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to a report from Basketball Insiders.

McAdoo, 24, spent his first three years with the Golden State Warriors. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 2.8 points in 52 games.

McAdoo’s father is the second cousin of Hall of Famer Bob McAdoo. Both played their college ball at North Carolina.

A two-way deal means a player will get every opportunity with the parent club but is likely to spend most of his time with the G-League affiliate.
