Sixers guard Bayless out with sprained knee

Point guard Jerryd Bayless appeared in 39 games with the Sixers last season.

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Jerryd Bayless will miss three-to-four weeks with a left knee sprain, the team announced in a news release.

Bayless suffered the injury at practice Sunday. The 6-foot-3 veteran averaged 7.9 points in 39 games last season.

He is part of a crowded and productive backcourt, with Ben Simmons, Markelle Fultz, T.J. McConnell and rookie Landry Shamet also all capable of running the point.

So it’s a safe bet that Bayless won’t be a major part of the rotation if he returns, and for more betting visit OLBG’s review on K8 to redeem the current free bet.

Along with the Sixers, Bayless has spent time with the Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks over the course of his 10-year career.

The Sixers recently lost small forward Wilson Chandler, who suffered a strained hamstring.
