Wade Baldwin IV has done enough to earn the confidence of the Portland Trail Blazers, with team announcing Monday that Baldwin has been signed for the remainder of the season.
Baldwin had been on a two-way deal with the Blazers, spending 45 games with the G-League’s Texas Legends, before getting called up to the NBA at the end of January.
Baldwin is a 6-foot-4 combo guard who was drafted No. 17 overall (by Memphis) in 2016. The Grizzlies gave up on him after 33 games and he inked the two-way contract in October.
He has appeared in just one game and logged three minutes for the Blazers.
