The Sacramento Kings have extended the contract of general manager Vlade Divac and picked up the fourth-year option of coach Dave Joerger, the team announced Wednesday on its website.
Both are now under contract through the 2019-2020 season.
Divac has been Kings’ GM through 2015 and made his biggest splash last offseason, when he traded All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans in February.
Joerger coached the Memphis Grizzlies for three seasons before taking over the Kings last season. They finished 32-50.
Divac, Joerger and the Kings have some added excitement this season, with the addition of first-round picks De’Aaron Fox, Justin Jackson and Harry Giles, as well as veterans Zach Randolph, George Hill and Vince Carter, among others.
