Kings to sign Williams to two-way contract

Former Knicks forward Tory Williams reportedly has found a new home with the Kings.

Recently waived small forward Troy Williams intends to sign a two-way contract with the Sacramento Kings, according to a report from Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

Williams was waived by the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday and will need to clear waivers before signing with the Kings. He clears waivers Saturday.

The Kings will be Williams’ fifth team since entering the league in 2016. Along with the Pelicans, he has also spent time with the Memphis Grizzlies, New York Knicks and Houston Rockets.

The Indiana product has compiled career averages of 6.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 51 games.
