Spurs add center Brimah to camp roster

Former UConn center Amida Brimah is getting an NBA shot with the Spurs.

Undrafted Connecticut center Amida Brimah has agreed to a training camp contract with the San Antonio Spurs, according to multiple reports.

The Spurs released their camp roster Monday, and Brimah was among the names listed.

Brimah is 7-foot-0 and averaged 7.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks as a senior last season. He played four games for the Chicago Bulls summer team in July.

Per Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors: “He’s a long shot to make the Spurs’ regular season roster, but should be a good bet to end up with the Austin Spurs, San Antonio’s G League squad, as an affiliate player.”
