Mavs’ Curry to undergo season-ending surgery

Mavericks guard Seth Curry will undergo surgery, officially bringing an end to his season.

Dallas Mavericks guard Seth Curry will undergo season-ending surgery to address a left tibia injury, according to a report from ESPN.

Curry is expected to be sidelined for 12-to-14 weeks.

Per ESPN:

Curry, who has been sidelined with the injury since the preseason, will need a three-month recovery period. He’s expected to be fully cleared and on the court before the start of July free agency.

He averaged a career-high 12.8 points on shot 48 percent from the floor last season, including 42.5 percent on 3-pointers.

Curry, 27, is the younger brother of Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry.
