Star point guard Kyle Lowry has agreed to a three-year contact to return to the Toronto Raptors, according to multiple reports.
The contract will reportedly pay Lowry in the neighborhood of $100 million.
Lowry connected with several other teams, sources said, but none could come close to the deal he struck with the Raptors.
Lowry, 31, averaged 22.4 points and 7.0 assists in 60 games last season. He’s had what has been considered a rocky relationship with coach Dwane Casey, but the two seemed to work through their differences last season.
Lowry and the Raptors were swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the playoffs.
The Raptors also came to terms with power forward Serge Ibaka earlier in the day.
