Raptors ink Hayes to 10-day contract

Nigel Hayes is being signed by the Sacramento Kings for the rest of this season and for 2018-19, according to a report.

Former Wisconsin standout forward Nigel Hayes has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Toronto Raptors, according to a report from ESPN.

Hayes went undrafted last summer, spending most of the season with the Westchester Knicks of the G League. He has compiled averages of 16 points, seven assists and six rebounds with Westchester.

He was a teammate of Charlotte Hornets center Frank Kaminsky and Los Angeles Clippers forward Sam Dekker while with the Badgers, making an appearance in the NCAA championship game in 2016.

Hayes signed a 10-day contract with the LA Lakers earlier this season, appearing in two games.
