Second-year forward Troy Williams was on shaky ground just about a month ago but that appears to have changed.
According to Yahoo Sports, Williams has signed a two-year contract with the Knicks. The contract includes partial guarantees for next season, Yahoo reported.
After spending the first part of his rookie season with the Grizzlies, Williams made his way to the Rockets — who waived him to make room for veteran Joe Johnson. Williams appeared in four games this season with the Rockets.
Williams then signed a pair of 10-day deals with the Knicks, and has averaged 8.1 points in the eight games since.
The former Indiana University standout layed a combined 30 games last season.
